ASA Michigan State Championship tournament

The West Michigan Archery Center (WMAC) is hosting an ASA Michigan State Championship during the weekend of July 21-22, 2018.  Actual times are below:

  • Saturday, July 21, 2018 - 11:00 am start

  • Sunday, July 22, 2018 - 11:00AM start
    (Michigan Elite shoot down to follow)

Location: West Michigan Archery Center 3500 Ten Mile Rd., Rockford, MI 49341

Costs / Registration:

  • Amateur Class Adults - $25 (Guest shooters who just want to see what an ASA shoot is all about may shoot as a non-competitor for $10).
  • Elite Class Adults - $35
  • Grade School (K-12) aged Kids - $10

  • There is no pre-registration - PAY ON SITE

Notes:

  • The tournament will feature our new ASA McKenzie 3D-Pro Tournament Targets (30 targets)
  • Door prizes to be awarded following Sunday's Shootdown.
  • Classes are defined by gender, age, skill, and equipment.  Classes are also broken down by known and unknown yardage, as well as price and trophy classes.
  • All bow types are welcome, including crossbows.  Note that arrow speed limits are defined by class, and will be "choreographed" as part of registration.
  • This is a money shoot with splits in fees of $5 going to the ASA, $10 to the sponsoring club and the balance for the Class Purse/Payback.
  • Competitors MUST BE ASA Members to compete, and shooters must have competed in at least one ASA Qualifier for the same class. (Exception: ASA Life Members and Youth)
  • Competitors interested in shooting in the Michigan Elite Class must shoot on the Sunday line at 10:00 followed by a five target Pro Pressure Shoot Down for the top 5 participants.
