Earl Meyers Memorial Fund

Earl Meyers, or Coach Earl, as he was known at WMAC, was a beloved member of the archery community in West Michigan. He founded the Fremont Fish and Game Indoor Archery Center in 1957, and starting the Youth Junior Olympic Archery Club in 1971. More recently, Coach Earl was father figure and coach to several archers at the West Michigan Archery Center. He had coached several national champions, including his son Glenn, who was one of the founding members of the West Michigan Archery Center as well as an Olympic archer representing the United States in the 1984 Olympics.

Coach Earl passed away on April 27, 2020. He will be dearly missed. He was husband to Hazel for 67 years before her passing, and father to Dorothy, Cathy, Sue, and Glenn.
