Indoor Open Shoot
Indoor open shoot is available for all archers who can demonstrate an understanding of basic archery skills and form for open shoots and adhere to safety requirements. No coaching is provided. Parents of young archers must oversee shooting activities. Equipment rental is available at an additional cost. Indoor open shooting is available only during scheduled times for guests.
OUTDOOR TARGET SHOOT
From April to October, outdoor target open shoot is available for archers during indoor open shoot times, and occasionally, during class or program times. Outdoor targets with FITA or Spot scoring are available to use on our outdoor practice range, with targets available at marked distances between 20 and 90 meters. Outdoor target shooting is only available to archers with their own equipment.
3D OPEN SHOOT
Our outdoor 3D Course open shoot is available May through September, and takes archers through the sequenced course of 25-3D targets (number of targets may vary based on league/seasonal setup), unmarked distance, on a mapped trail through the designated wooded area, and is estimated to take 2 hours to complete. 3D open shooting is available during daylight hours to all guests.
WINTER SPOT LEAGUE
WMAC hosts a weekly Winter Spot League with mixed participants (men and women; compound, recurve, and traditional). This league is open to all levels of shooters, with participation limited to 40 archers (2 shooting lines).
January 8, 2019 to March 9, 2019
Two weeks before league starts or at the time of registration, one half of the registration fee must be paid for league and the second half of the registration fee will be due on the first night of league. No refunds after first week of league. League points will be awarded as follows: one point for winning a game. One point for total. All ties get ½ point. And one point for attendance.
League will be 10 weeks. Banquet on 11th week. Open shooting available after banquet if range is available.
This will be a Handicap League at 75%.
The first two weeks scores will also count as a bank score and it will be part of the scores needed to establish a handicap. Handicap will be established after the second week of scoring.
Only two bank scores are allowed. Attendance point not applicable for bank scores.
Make up scores must be shot the week prior to using them and witnessed. Limit one makeup score.
If no bank score is in the system and no make-up score is shot then the score used will be competitor’s average less 3 points per game.
Make up ends will be shot at halftime on league nights with maximum of 3 ends.
Any further rules or changes will be brought to the league shooters attention as soon as possible.
NFAA rules apply
The timing system with horn will be used.
Archers have the choice of single spot blue target or 5 spot but may not change in the middle of a game (evening).

Actual payout amount will be determined once we have the total number of archers in the league.
