Top Nock JOAD Charity Tournament

Top Nock JOAD is hosting a warm-up tournament at the West Michigan Archery Center to kick off indoor season. $10 of every entry fee will go to support North Kent Connect.  North Kent Connect is a Christian organization committed to improving the lives of all people in northern Kent County by providing access to basic needs and promoting economic independence.

This tournament will be a 18m indoor round (60 arrows) tournament.   This tournament is the perfect opportunity to warm up and prepare for the upcoming indoor archery season for archers throughout Michigan, and a great opportunity to have fun and contribute to a good cause.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT AND RULE:

This tournament will consist of two targets of 30 arrows each (in 10 ends of 3 arrows each) shot on FITA targets.  Archers may register in four bow-type classifications (barebow/traditional, compound, recurve, and compound with fingers).    The USA Archery dress code will be in effect.

AGE CLASSIFICATIONS (USA ARCHERY RULES):

  • Yeoman (up to age 9 by the end of the calendar year)
  • Bowman (Ages 10-12 by the end of the calendar year)
  • Cub (Ages 13-14 by the end of the calendar year)
  • Cadet (Ages 15-17 by the end of the calendar year)
  • Junior (Ages 18-20 by the end of the calendar year)
  • Senior (Ages 21-49 by the end of the calendar year)
  • Masters (Ages 50+ by the end of the calendar year)

An awards ceremony will take place following shooting. Concessions will be available.
